The treatment targets deep layers of the skin, including the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS), the same layer addressed in surgical facelifts. It reaches collagen- and elastin-rich layers, where skin laxity originates, helping to firm and elevate the skin.
Using micro-focused ultrasound with real-time visualisation (MFU-V), the treatment delivers targeted thermal energy at clinically established depths (1.5mm, 3.0mm, and 4.5mm). This process heats tissue to 60–70°C, triggering collagen contraction and renewal to strengthen the skin’s support structure.
The treatment activates fibroblasts, initiating collagen renewal through healing, new collagen formation, and long-term remodelling. Over time, this results in a gradual, natural-looking lift with improved skin elasticity and firmness.
